They are flight deck workers that use different colors for different jobs but the commander could have ordered all in dress uniforms for the shot. Clearly done on purpose IMO.

Agreed. What they did is more visually appealing.

You missed my point - or you're ignoring it. Would you agree our armed services have gone 'woke?' If you don't think so, conversation over. If you *do* think so would you agree it's not out of the realm of possibility the formation we watched on Sunday *could* have been a rainbow and therefore a nod to wokeness? *Could* have been. Not WAS.

I agree that the military has gone woke. But probably not to the level or extent that some here do.

Anything is in the realm of possibility.

Showing the troops and having a flyover and all the thunderbirds and blue angels shows…a lot of that is for recruiting and retention. My mind said: of course they want to make the biggest visual impact.

Because that’s in the realm of possibility, too.

My post was not speaking to whether it was possible or not. My comment was a statement about people collectively trying to find a reason to be offended. Or jumping to conclusions when there are, in fact, other possibilities.

But I guess it’s normal to come to conclusions based our own experiences. We all have confirmation bias at some level.
