Can we please stop making every thread about politics?

The world involves politics. Politics is the reason we were banned from the CF. There are a bunch of "lame ducks" working for IB in El Segundo, CA that are fruity progressive liberals.

This is a sample of someone who decides to create a meme instead of ignoring threads or posting their opinion.

Don't write about politics here. Start a separate thread on Facebook.

This reminds me of people who post "prayers sent" just to up their post count.

The reality of it is, that it's my bet that if you put ALL of us in a dining hall for dinner or on a cruise ship, we'd get along just fine. Here's the problem with public discussions today about almost EVERYTHING. Since their founding in the French Revolution, wherever they can get a foothold, the left has politicized everything as a means to power -- which is all they really care about.

My list, but not limited to:

Sex, drugs, rock 'n roll, gender, the media, marriage, medicine, the traditional family, culture, gun ownership, crime, the courts, policing, the military, the weather/climate, energy, the entire educational system, banking, sports, nicotine, alcohol, entertainment, the fashion industry, comedy, money printing, auto industry, social media and most of the internet, advertising, corporations, and probably a hundred other things I can't think of at the moment. It would be easier and shorter to list the items that have NOT been politicized.

Generally there's two reasons for that kind of statement;

one of them is that the majority of members politics are not that particular persons flavor. And to try to hide that fact... they attempt to pretend to be neutral... saying "all politics"; knowing full well that it's targeted heavily towards one side of the aisle.

I hope that's not the case here.

Tim, I hear ya man, but I think what has been expressed is the desire to put an end to the perpetual vitriol that is often started with a remark. Even folks that are relatively aligned are in regular pissing matches with each other.

It's not that I agree or disagree with any particular post, but I get turned away by all the horse nippin' in threads. It's why I stopped posting here some years ago.
Shit my kids attack each other less than some of you fukkers.
