I mowed my lawn at 8:30 this AM. It was already 82 degrees and humidity at 79%

At 5:00 the heat index was 107
Glad I was sitting inside having a gin and tonic

I went and got gas in the Suburban at 8:30 this morning so Levi could get a ride. It was 85* and a bit sticky. ( not sure of actual humidity )

Not to wish my life away but I can't wait for slightly cooler weather

My lawn is mostly brown. What was green and lush is brown, thanks to the dog. Don't need to mow.

My lawn is one of the few in the neighbor that has a green tint to it. I haven't cut it in over three weeks. Yes, the weeds are a little tall ( 5-6" ) in spots but no lawn mowing until it rains.

The one neighbor cuts his every week. It looks like a beautiful bronze sandpaper lawn now.

Mid 90's, the 3 H's, heat index low hundreds. Spent all day in here in the AC, just foolin' around, wiping down the Z, consuming fresh brewed iced tea, playing my favorite tunes.............nice to be retired.

Oh I forgot, I did wash the honey's SRX early this morning.
