The man who used gun boat diplomacy. Also, remember the Libyan bombing back in '86? France wouldn't giv dip clearance aka over flight to the F-111s. Somehow, the French Embassy was subjected to an "Off Target" explosion. Oops. Some folks didn't/don't like his way. Well, I suppose we could just talk our way out of every situation and then end up singing Kumbaya with our enemies.

Still my favorite President in my lifetime. Sure he wasn't perfect, but who is?
Made us proud to be an American, badly needed after Carter. Helped end the whole East/West Germany thing. Was the last truly "Presidential" President. Loved his wife with a passion rarely seen these days. If you're a fan, I'd recommend picking up the Reagan Diaries book, it's a great read.
