The one I see around here a lot is 'engine totally gone through'. Not rebuilt, refreshed or cleaned up, just 'gone through'. I always picture some kid looking at the lifter valley with a flashlight then slapping the intake manifold back on and considering it 'gone through'.

Oh and every pile of rust sitting next to moms garage for the past 40 years is a 'rat rod' if you paint it black.

"Desirable" - I desire that it be gone from my life.
