Tank is dead...
I found him this morning in a puddle of water near the patio. No obvious signs of injury...just cold, stiff, and lifeless. The only thing unusual that happened last night was that at some late hour I was awakened by dogs barking in the back yard. I opened the back door and yelled at them, and they went away. It's strange for Tank to be caught unawares at his own house.
Last evening Tank sat in my lap about an hour in the work shop, sleeping as I rubbed his ears, back, and neck. He was wet, but when Tank wanted to be held...well, there was no refusing him. He didn't mind rain, but he always kept his fur spotlesssly clean and soft. May God Bless you. I love you, Son.  Thank you for allowing me to share my grief.

Damn. :
Just yesterday at lunch ,my best friend told me they had to have their cat Benny put down. Benny was a primarily out door cat ( by his own choice) who just in the last couple of months would come inside My deepest sympathy Spence. Loosing such a good friend and family member is really tough |
