Teachers are expected to follow a certain moral code. When she was interviewed on the news yesterday, she said straight up she expected to get fired over the pictures, but that she made more doing a photo shoot over a two day weekend than she did for two weeks worth of teaching.

She taught high school. There is no way they could have maintained her teaching teen age boys with those photos on the net.

Unfortunately for her, she is short sighted. While teaching could lead for a career, as you can see from the photos, her modeling career will be comparatively very short - at best.

Good for her.

The bottom line is teaching is a shitty job. Two of my best friends are married to former teachers. One taught for around 5 years, had a kid, went back for awhile and then quit. The other just had a kid and is quitting after this year.

The one who just quit has been going back to college for about a year now because she knew she was going to change careers whether they had a kid or not.

Now every kid has some special condition you have to accommodate, you have a crazy parent or two to deal with, etc... All of this for the wonderful salary of around $30,000.

You can work as a secretary at a lot of places and make that salary (if not more) with similar benefits with A LOT less stress and work.
