Default Hey Dallas Peeps. I need a place to sleep for a few nights...
In case you haven't heard, I lost my job Monday at 8:15 PM. I was up until 5 am that night filing for unemployment, updating my resume, and applying for jobs.

I got replies from two recruiters on Tuesday for two very close matches, one of them being in Plano, TX. I had a phone interview yesterday with Intuit and it went really well.

I got the call today that I'm being recalled for a 2nd interview. Due to tight time schedules, they wanted to do a web interview, I offered to fly out using my airline miles and they accepted. The interview is Thursday. I'd love to fly in Wednesday night and leave Friday or Saturday, but could also be gone on Thursday.

Would love to hang out with my friends and take them out for dinner and drinks multiple times. I think this job has a TON of potential. In fact, I would be in Texas immediately upon an offer, and possibly moving there in due time permanently.

I knew the interview went very well. The fit is very strong. The fact that I have a degree in accounting, but am also an uber programmer hit strong with the main guy. He is also an accountant and software engineer.

Fingers crossed. Since I have to go to Texas, might as well make a fun weekend out of it.
