Default We didn't get a Spanish resort

but we did get a new DD. Traded off the Dakota today. The ONLY disappointment was not being able to afford the V8 (SS) model. The V6 is like having and american muscle car with a ricer engine in it. I know they have been making 6 bangers in these from the start but I've never driven one.

It's an RS 2LT impressively loaded included HUD which we have been spoiled with on our 07. It's a 2011 and had some very nice rebates that just put it in our price range. We have never had a vert either, so we'll see how that works out. I'm guessing we'll either love it or hate it.

I think 323 hp and 278 torque. Yeah it has fairly good response but the sound just doesn't mix with my image of an iconic muscle car. Then I made the mistake of driving a SS. OMG it was so much better. My wife and I had a time arguing about 430 hp vs all the luxuries. She won out, damn the common sense!!! She kept saying we already have 2 race cars and even though they could still use way more hp I couldn't come up with a good enough argument.

It has been my experience that V6 pony cars have a very optimal weight distribution (plus they are lighter anyways) and you can really drive them quickly even on the regular tire sizes.

In a hardtop, that's the exact car Mz Friz wants (and will ultimately get, I'm sure). I've driven both the V6 and the SS....and the 6 is no slouch....it gets up and runs very well. You're gonna love it....

Congrats!

That's funny you mention that, I felt like the LS3 was heavier but the power more that compensated. I'm not sure just how much difference there really is. The RS package comes with 20" rims but narrow profile. I couldn't tell any difference with driving.

Thanks Friz, we both really like the drivability. Very easy and fun to drive. The V6 is not bad at all, the sound just reminds me of our Maxima which had a 3.5 and was also very healthy. Were I went wrong was driving the LS3 after that I wasn't what it had.

So I went out to move the new Camaro in the driveway and the battery is dead. Not just a little click, click dead but nothing dead. 2 things happened that surprised me. 1) when we tried to start it with the key the car locked the key in the ignition (wouldn't let it go) and 2) I couldn't shut the door since the windows normally index, and it couldn't so the window was hitting on the window frame. I'm assuming the the key thing is some sort of theft deterrent but the window thing just seems like bad design. I could have jumped it but called GM roadside and had them do it. The guy tried to tell me that it's common for new cars to have their batteries go dead. I guess I'll be taking it to the dealer next week.

Yep....most of the new Chevys do this. We had customers with Cobalts and HHR's run the battery down and get the key stuck. Shitty design in my book. The Roadside guy is full of crap....something went wrong. I've got 450 new cars sitting on my lot right now....and none of them have dead batts. Dealer needs to fix it.

Cool, you can email to [email protected]. BTW, I've been avoiding the email format because once a person gets the PDF they can pirate parts too easy.

The thought actually did cross my mind, but common sense prevails in this case (unlike the money I've dumped in the C4). It would have been way smarter to have just spent the extra 3-4K to get the SS w/ LS3.

What is this bulls$it about "common sense" ??? Man, you had better stop using "that" or your not going to have any fun.....WW

If we always used common sense , nothing would get done...WW
