Relationships: Disagreements and talking about them
When you and your SO have an disagreement or need to have a serious discussion ( i.e. one of you is pissed about something the other supposedly did) would you rather talk about it immediately even if its not convenient or just put it off until its convenient?

I hold a lot in and don't like to fight. The S/O on the other hand loves conflict. I usually let it go in one ear and out the other. When I'm pushed into a corner, someone usually comes out crying and apologizing, and it's not me.

With the lady I currently spend time with, we only have minor annoyances... my lack of desire to plan any future events before the day thereof; her lack of situational awareness (meaning, I have to snag her shoulder to keep her from walking out into traffic about once a week - not sure how she's lived this long).
Our disputes are short and immediate. |

I never get angry really. It takes alot for me to get pissed. And as all of you remember my award winning post about how I think we all evolved from Apes. And how that means women have ape genes and I use that to build up the confidence to say hi. Well whenever my chic argues with me I just laugh and remember that's the ape in her that's talking. Nah, we talk almost immediately, and when she is off base or on a topic I feel it's 'HER department'....I just start a little high piched teeth closed whine and let my lips move, making a murrr merr, marrr type sound like a cartoon maybe do for sound effects.....she get the message that it's all cool and I could care less....
I take care of the ape shit, she takes care of the hearts and flowers.... she does the food/cooking I do the dishes....we are alive, that simple...

when i first got married my wife would get mad at me and hold it in for days on end.finally i told her if you're mad at me lets talk about right away...wow was that a mistake i miss the good ol days when she wouldn't talk to me

I've had enough failures in this that I can reasonably speak from experience. It all really depends on the people in the relationship. I've held it in and got labelled as passive aggressive and also flagged the issue immediately and got called a nit picker. There's really no set rule.
