Three women suspected of shoplifting from a California Burlington store were caught on camera slowly wheeling out three shopping carts of merchandise in a broad-daylight spectacle over the weekend.

Sacramento police confirmed with The Post on Tuesday that they’re actively investigating the alleged theft that took place Saturday at a local store.

Video of the brazen incident emerged online showing the plus-size suspects making a break for it in the parking lot of the shopping center on North Freeway Drive and loading the goods into a red Dodge Charger as alarms blared in the background.

“Damn, look at these people stealing! Say hi to the camera!” the man filming can be heard teasing the women in the video as they hurl mounds of clothes and shoes into the trunk of the car.

“Look at this s–t. What the f–k is this?” he says, walking toward them

The video, which was shared on Instagram by @ppv_tahoe, shows that the women had also parked in a handicapped parking spot without a placard during the heist.

The quick-thinking cameraman made sure to get a close-up of the car’s license plate and even asked one of the women her name before she slammed the trunk shut and pulled away, gunning the engine.

The Sacramento Police Department said a police report had been filed.
The thing is, these women should have been easy to stop, using their own body weight against them. But no one wanted to do that, no one wanted to be arrested for physically stopping them in California. If there wasn't the very real threat of being arrested and indicted, yanking them by their mumus and pulling them down to the ground would have been easy enough. Knock down the one behind the car and keep her on the ground, and the other two are stuck, because no way that car could back over a woman of that....fulsomeness.

States should start passing good Samaritan laws that protect people trying to stop brazen shoplifting/looting like this.

Looks like the new trend.

I am thinking about heading to Best Buy today, and walking our with three 85" Samsungs, only problem is getting them all into / onto the Corvette for the drive home.

The real unsung hero of this shoplifting story is that Dodge's suspension, to be able to hold all that weight without breaking the springs, or the frame. Dodge should use the footage in its commercials.

We went to one of those stores in Omaha a few years back.
Holy crap, what a ghetto shit store.

I was probably 50'+ from my wife and saw a hideous heavy winter coat that was all $100 bills printed all over it.
I yelled "honey, look what I found!?!?!?"

She was mortified, and we left.

mrvette probably remembers the days when shops had everything behind the counter and you had to ask the shopkeeper to bring out the things you wanted to buy. I think those days might be coming back very soon.
