Dale and Chip
Chip and Dale and friends have taken up residence in my 4runner. I put dryer sheets in several locations. J has made a bucket contraption to try to catch them. Any other suggestions for evicting them?

Yes, sunflower seeds and Have-A-Hart live traps worked great for squirrels; I was catching 3-5 a day until my infestation abated. The only problem is you have to relocate them taking a circuitous route with many turns and switching of routes; if you go in a straight line they may well return. If I wasn't in a subdivision I'd have blown them to hell, along with the pigeons that crap all over my boat.

How about a Have a Heart trap? Relocate the little bastards instead of killing them.

I think the snake that hangs out here is still sleeping.
I got black oil sunflower seeds. I don’t want to shoot up my yota. We are not in a neighborhood. I am willing to drive across county lines to relocate the little vermin. |

We had them in my garage, and I implemented the "bucket o' death" which took care of them. 5 gallon bucket half filled with water. Put enough sunflower seeds in it to disguise the water. Get a 2x4 or other appropriate board, lean against the edge of the bucket. Put some sunflower seeds on the board, and wait for them to "walk the plank".
In your truck, putting the bucket on the floor in the back seat may be enough. I have an appropriate sized have a heart trap for 'monks, I've never caught one with it. Happy Hunting! |

I haven’t been outside yet to check the bucket this morning. I don’t think putting it inside my 4runner is a good idea. I can just picture me driving off without taking it out and sunflower seeds, water and the little rodents spilling everywhere
