Actually my thought on this entire Republican / Democrat ideology debate will be clearly communicated through the next Presidential Election. Personally, I think the more Voters the Republicans isolate and put out of work will serve the Democrats cause … regardless to if their ideas are right or wrong. I think the Republicans simply don’t get it.

Example; everyone knows the Republican Party is Pro-National Defense; yet that don’t seem to care that the lion’s share of individuals who make up our National Defense come from families the Republicans openly despise.

The Republicans proposed a measure on April 7 that would keep the military paid through September if the government shut down. The president said he would veto such a measure. Sounds like the ones looking out for the "lion's share of individuals who make up our National Defense" were the Republicans. I don't think this supports your theory that the Republicans despise these people. The voice of the one who would veto such a measure came from Obama... who apparently would hold them up while they are in harm's way, as political fodder... a truly despicable act.

Government is not an employment agency and needs to be cut in at least half.

there is no place for public unions. Vote for the very people who you bargain with so they will give you what you ask with no regard for those who pay the taxes. Then the very unions put millions into the party who they feel will give them the best deal. If this were the pubs you would be screaming to high heaven about it. If they want to bargain with the tax payers, then go for it.

I agree a lot of people don't have a brain when it comes to a lot of issues they are against. It's the me mentality, piss on everyone else.

But at the end of the day, it's their money and they feel it's being abused. And in many instances it is.

For what it's worth, I don't give a damn who's making a career out of collecting welfare when they damned well could be working instead.
