I would say it is good progress and I hope, and expect, China will cave and be willing to negotiate more fair agreements.

China will be the toughest negotiation. I like how Trump just put it right out there. He asked nicely. Then he instituted some tariffs. China hit back, and Trump just went right to it......'fine, we will just tariff every single thing you send here. Reciprocate that, and you STILL lose.'
It's a no brainer on Xi's part once he's totally convinced Trump will follow through. (He will.) |
