That looks perfectly safe. We like having a camper AND a boat when we go on vacation.

I'm sure it just needs air bags.

Back in 2001 or so, there was a Commercial for the Chevy Tracker where the guy pulled over and hooked up to pull a broken down Semi. I searched for it, but they were dead links.
I remember one of the disclaimers on the bottom of the screen read "Can a Tracker pull a Semi? No, read your owners manual."

That commercial applies here.

Herein lies the problem for me. How would a gas truck ever do better than a diesel truck at towing? I am willing to accept that I surely don't know everything when it comes to towing but I cannot think of one reason how a gas vehicle would ever be better.

fuel supply.
No matter where you are, at least in the US, gasoline is far easier to find than Diesel. It's not as hard as it used to be, but it can still be an issue.
When we visit my parents in Lincoln, NE, we have to drive 15 minutes to get Diesel.

I have never, ever, ever had a problem. Also considering that farm equipment and trucking runs on diesel I really find that a hard to believe.

you'd be surprised. Get off the interstates, and diesel can be hard to find.

My parents live in the city proper of Lincoln, go out of the city and evey station will have Diesel.
But most large/commercial farms get thier diesel directly delivered to them, as it's the Tax-free dyed diesel.

oddly enough, my in-laws live in rural Indiana, and there's only station in 20 miles that has Diesel.

it didn't say it's impossible to find, just that it can be difficult, depending on where you are.

Have you ever followed a diesel running bio fuel like that? OMG, it's one of the foulest smells I have ever experienced!!

There is a guy around here that works on Cummins only, and he is buying crude oil by the barrel, and adding 5 gallons of something to it. Comes out to be around 2.50 gallon, and he claims his truck is getting 2 mpg better than standard diesel.

This guy also has a 4dr dodge that is running high 10's, and a pull truck that is unreal!!

That guy will debate you for days about the legitimacy of that rig.
Despite all the differing opinions in this thread I bet not one of us would pull a mess like that.

You're right.. it is Stillen, and everyone on the Titan forum hates the kit becuase it has tons of problems and Stillen has horrid customer service.

Can't say that I have.... you never answered my question in your land thread about what you have to do to care for 110 acres of land

I've seen people post setups like that on the truck forums quite often... they have a travel trailer and then pull a boat or a utility trailer behind it. Is that even legal? I would think it'd be very prone to sway? What would keep the boat out back from flopping all over under hard braking?

My New transmission with 5k miles on it is acting up, I need to go take it in again. I am not concerned though, was pulling a boat a couple of weekends ago no problem

It is legal in about 60% of the states.

It is stupid in 100% of 'em though.
