Oh, I thought you were asking Liz. Just depends on how clean you want it to be. If you have a lot of pasture, and fences, you have a lot of mowing, and fence rows to keep clean so briars and bushes don't grow up around it.
Woods are woods, let it go imho, b/c you're fighting an uphill battle. Other than that, keep your yard and drive clean just like any normal house any you're good.

The ONLY place I have had trouble finding diesel is near downtown areas. Even then, just hit the interstate and you will find them everywhere.

I'd go for that 6 1/2. I had the short one and I missed that extra foot.

here's a fun observation... 3/4 ton and 1-ton trucks have the same towing capacities.
Dually's actually offer less towing capacity, since the heavier axle consumes a greater portion of the GVWR.

GVWR doesn't consider a trailer. What about GCWR?

I'll bet the dually wins.

Combined Gross Weight Rating. It is clearly listed in everyone's owners manual and Y2Kvert4me is correct. I haven't seen a dually lose to anything in that category although there might be an exception out there somewhere.

It's amazing how many people confuse them or have no understanding. I've had multiple people tell me the GVWR on the door jamb sticker on a vehicle was the curb weight.

I never understood the purpose of a dually, except maybe to have an extra 2 wheels for traction in the mud.

if you exclude the towing capacity remark... I'm correct.

Increased weight carrying capacity (2 more tires to spread the load), increased stability (wider track) and an added margin of safety in the event of a blow-out.

Oh. Meh. I still feel a truck's towing ability is only as good as it's suspension. (Leaf springs suck)
