NO! No I do not... I only know a few words, but a lot are the same here also.

No one speaks Tagalog here... but I do hear it a lot on TV


But my Cebuano and Bantayan Bisya skills are getting pretty decent compared to most other of the foreigners that live here.

I can make a half assed conversation these days, enough to get by drinking Rhum with the guys for the most part, but cannot keep up completely yet.

I would guess about 60% goes over my head still.

I do have an Aussie buddy that stops by at least once a week, and English is nice.
