I have been buying a lot of stuff lately and that has happened to me. Peoples word means nothing now days. The problem is to most people if they don't know you your just another name on the screen. When i was growing up your word meant something. A handshake sealed the deal.
I have also run across pople who will PM you and never seal the deal and diaper long enough for you to buy the item elsewhere. Then they come back a week later and moan and groan because you bought it some where else.

Well, I have to give him credit. He tried to do the right thing. He sent me a sarcastic PM expaining that I needed to check my spam box.
He never did send it. I have never not received an e-mail, so he is the first I guess.
Anyhow, they fit in USPS $4.95 priority box, and he wanted $20 to ship them.
Felt like a little bit of an azz poundin, so I passed on them.
Win/Win for both of us.

What a dick, I just read his response. You told him shipping time was no problem and he is pissing and moaning about standing in line at a post office during Christmas.

Had he communicated with me, I would have told him the next time he was anywhere near the post office (after christmas), at his convenience, toss them in the mail. Receiving them before May 2012 would be my request.
For the record, I had no problem with him charging me $20 to cover his $12 UPS out of pocket.
I wanted to make my point, and bail out.
I grew up about 10 miles from him. Us New Yawkers would rather just say "f" you, and move on.
At this point, I bet he is willing to toss them in the trash, before selling to me. That is what I would do, if a potential buyer annoyed me.
I sent a request to the ZF doc for a brand new set.
The $140 was getting too close to the $190 new price anyway.
I am not cheap, just try to be a wise buyer.

You can get free boxes mailed to your house from USPS, pay the postage, print the shipping label on any paper, tape it to the box and your mailman will pick it up...all free (for Priority mail- easy with flat rate). Nowadays, shipping is easier than having someone come to your house.

My gut feeling is that he is someone I should avoid, and I did not follow through with the purchase. $20 shipping charge gave me a reason to pass.

Like I mentioned earlier, I have never NOT received an e-mail, so I think he is not truthful.

On a sad note, it looks like JAKESON took an azz pounding on his engine build.
I feel bad for him. He seems like a good kid.
