I'll post pics later when the wife gets home with the other half. I got 16 models at about $ 6 a piece. I also picked up a Crosman 1077 CO2 pellet gun for $6. Works great ! Some puzzles and play truck for the Grandson. It was a pretty successful auction.

BTW- there were a couple of models that went for $80 a piece !!

...and lots more.

The Space shuttle models are always fun. The Discovery shuttle with boosters and the Columbia model from your pics are both pretty valuable ones. Any chance those were among the ones you picked up?

No-that went for more than I was willing to pay. My goal was to get some models for my Grandson and I to put together when he's old enough. Models are great for learning how to follow directions. So far, he's got Erector set, a million Legos, now some models etc...

Those are some awesome kits. At some point in my life I have built those exact B-17G and P-38 kits and I have the P-51 sitting unopened in a box.

If you picked those up for $6 each you got a smoking deal.

I can't wait for him to be old enough to change my oil.....errrr build these models. Maybe he'll be able to keep glue off of the cockpit glass.

I used to build those Tamiya WWII 1/35 scale like crazy when I was a kid. Had book cases full of tanks and soldiers. I remember paying $12-$15 each back in the early 80's.
