Don't have a pic on the computer...

my 1st Vette looked exactly like this '96 Collector Coupe. I bought it new in 96...I was 35 years old...the car listed for 42K...I paid 38K out the door...CASH...I thought I had arrived.

Still the best looking factory Corvete offering EVER in my opinion.

Bought March of 2006 with 21k miles(2001 A4). Dad has it though it's still titled in my name with 44k miles. Next to it was my 1990 Turbo Nissan 240sx, and my dad's 86 vert and 88 coupe C4s(he still has both C4s). I sold the Nissan 2 years ago.

I'll be buying That C5 back from him one of these days...

No worries. I grew up shoveling horse manure everyday after school, have a natural red neck(no joke), and my favorite music is Country. I can take the abuse.

I don't have any pics... just never been a picture taking kind of guy.

Bought a black 1993 Coupe in 1999, an automatic, with the 2.59 rear end and FE1 (base) suspension, for too much money, before I really knew anything about Corvettes.

Loved that car, even though it was already "slow" for the era.

Since then I've had a 1999 FRC, and now a 1998 Coupe, both MN6 cars.

Beadist (Karen) has one like that and it is in real good shape. People who hate on the C4 are idiots. For the time that they were made they were the cats ass. The 96 CE is the best of the generation too (exception is the ZR-1 and the GS).

I saw a really nice one the other day with 30 something thousand miles for $17k. I thought the price was a bit high but it was a really nice car. If I had the garage space, I would be a male version of Liz (the cars, NOT the shoes....my legs are too hairy).
