Newest Carvana offer on the Mustang... this is tempting

The Mustang annoyed me again today, man they don't make these Fords like they used to, now I know why Lars dumped his.

So as the little hamster in my brain is trying to feel like it has to do something, I looked up the latest Carvana offer. This is only a few grand less than what I paid.

Really if we're not out beating on this thing on the weekends racing crotch rockets, the only place I go is a mile up the road to Aldi, for the most part. It's a waste of a nice car just sitting there so fucking cats can walk all over it or I can worry about hail lol

Sell or not sell? This increase is from the tariff nonsense so this number won't stay here for long.

Since this Mustang is my largest asset, Trump's threat of tariffs has been great for my portfolio. Lol

Trade in on used Mustangs is outrageously high.

My daughter got a new one, 2013 model year, and ran it into the ground. 150k miles, no AC, check engine light on, battery/starting failing (again) likely due to common problem of battery cable corrosion. Terrible paint scratched up by dogs, crashed underneath missing front end mini-spoiler.

Trade in value was $4,000.

And this was in addition to nearly 10% off sticker for the new car.

I think I'd strike while the iron is hot, and go for the offer. Did a similar deal with the F-Type back in '21; on trade-in I got about $100 less than I paid for it a couple of years prior. Good timing for you.

Nope. The math really only works in my favor if I do something like this below, which really works for this area. I can actually get to the grocery store using mostly a scenic path that goes along the river.
