Got my trade offers today:

CarMax $61k
Carvana $64k
My dealer $65k, which makes this easy, as I'll get the sales tax credit on that 65. ($4,225)

Much thanks to Marcus for spending about 6 hours this morning cleaning that thing up. When I did my spreadsheet in the beginning, I used 70k as the trade value, so 65 is not horrible. Car only has 11,065 miles on it and will make someone really happy. Now that that's done, it's parked in the 3rd bay and won't move again until the day I pick up the new Z.

That detail was long over due on that IOU. Glad the offers worked closer to your estimate. Can't wait to see the new one

Dear God, my ass won't be stuck in a bucket. My ability to afford this car was never a question (remember, I was considering a GT3 RS, which may have been another 75k on top of this for a used car). Even with this new loan, ALL of my expenses, including mortgage, are less than 50% of my take home income. As a household, we're in that maximize wealth phase here. I don't take debt lightly.

I enjoy hearing / reading about other folks doing well. Obviously some of the more insecure folks feel their own failures and their way of getting "even" is to give others a hard time.
