In another 10K miles the scheduled timing belt change for my wife's Honda Pilot will be due... I changed one a long time ago on a 1989 Accord but not sure if I'll attempt this one, don't want to end up doing cylinder head work due to something stupid... haha! |

Morning fellow barners
Quite depressed this am. Got caught at a stop light last week Tuesday during a hail storm. TV reported the hail as 1" size. Anyway, last Wednesday, I noticed small size dents in the hood. Maybe 50 of them. Contacted my insurance agent (e-mail), he said file a claim, it won't affect your policy rates. I said I'd get a quote before deciding on it. Took the Bronco in Monday to the local Dent Clinic, a paintless repair shop I've taken both my Harley, and mini van to. Very pleased with their work. Got the estimate yesterday evening. $2450.00 . Damage on every corner, including the removable hardtop (?) Don't know how they'll fix that, it's molded fiberglass/plastic. Shit! It'll cost me $500 deductible. Sent it off to my Ins. agent. Waiting on his reply. |

Good morning all MikeB I’m sorry about your Bronco. I hope the insurance takes care of it. I get to fight with them today to replace my windshield with an OEM one. A rock from a gravel truck said “**** your windshield”.
Also doing fun training modules today. This one is asbestos awareness. Pretty sure it was created in the 80’s lol. |

Hey Robert State Farm may not cover the whole cost for the windshield. Since it has a front camera, it sounds like OEM is highly recommended. A few people with GR Corolla’s have had issues with their adaptive cruise, lane keeping, and tracing not working well with aftermarket windshields. Also…it’s about $2k for the dealership to do the install. I don’t think State Farm isn’t going to pay for that as they only have Safelite as being in-network :/

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but if you take your pet pterodactyl for lunch at the taco truck, you really need to take him on a long walk after. Holy shit. Literally.
