Ah, that explains a lot about him, thanks.

I can't imagine anyone driving 3,000 miles/month around town except for UPS, FedEx, etc. delivery drivers.

Did you really just try to add 30 minutes of hypothetical bullshit to your pathetically stupid argument in an attempt to make it slightly less stupid?

I change the oil on my cars in about 15 minutes in my garage. I buy it online which costs me zero time.

You plan your entire existence around your car. But yes, 15 minutes at MOST twice a year is certainly a lot of work.

Your argument is that you really sit in McDonalds for MORE than 45 minutes, multiple times a day, to eat?

Sure you do.

It's pretty amusing actually.

Every time he posts this stupid shit, he uses 50k miles per year in his previous truck vs almost nothing in his current appliance to try to inflate the gas cost to a point that makes it look cheaper.

Sounds like another good reason to buy one.

I have never purchased a car based on what someone else wants or thinks, and if "lack of demand" makes them less likely to be stolen so much the better.

We go to Walmart like 3 times per week, 16 miles each time. Then I commuted every day to work which added another 50 miles per day. I drove twice a week to the table tennis club in Tampa which was 80 miles round trip each time I went. Parents used to have a condo in Clearwater, 50 miles from where we live and when they were in town for about 4 months every year, we drove every week 100 miles round trip to see them.
We also like do dine out. Our favorite Restaurants are at least 8 miles away, some of them over 20 miles. Back when the kids were smaller, we went almost every weekend to Orlando for the kids to go to places like "Monkey Joe's" etc. etc. I also frequently went to the table tennis club in Orlando to play on Friday night. The club was 60 miles from my home. We also drove once or twice a year down to South Texas and sometimes to Mexico (Tampico). We drive to South Florida about 2 to 3 times per year as well for shopping and dining. That's 500 miles round trip each time.

Sure you do.
While the actual oil change may take you 15 mins, you need to add the time to get all the tools, the catch pan and then you need to drive to the car parts store or your local landfill special trash to dispose of the oil you drained from the car. The total time that goes into an oil change is not just the 15 minutes to change the oil. Don't try to BS someone who has done oil changes for many many years myself.

Also, I usually showered after changing my oil as it's virtually impossible to not get sweaty or dirty when changing the oil.. Another 10 - 15 minutes right there.

For 360 of 365 days of the year, I don't need any time to fill my car as I can choose to wake up to a full charge every day. Can't do that with gas or diesel cars.

Meh - it still ain't worth it. What a pain in the ass - plugging the damn car in. **** that shit.

Now - if you can get an inductive charging pad installed on the floor of the garage, and I simply drive onto it...........maybe!

I got sick of it. I had up to 6 cars at the same time.. They all needed maintenance and oil changes.. Then the Grand Caravan of my wife needed brake pads every year.. It was a known issue with 2008 Grand Caravan's.

Did you really just try to claim less showers as a benefit of EVs?
