Got a taste of how lame CFOT has gotten

My favorite, when a mod there asks or invites you to PM with any questions concerns or comments. The member falls for it and goes to private messaging, to be whacked with infraction points, bannings and or suspensions for Moderator bashing or similar!

45 days was the line.
If there were no posts for 45 days, you couldn't bump it.

I had a thread about a car I traded in and updated the price the dealer was asking and I had to keep an eye on that date. :lolg:

Recently Tom Parsons (DZAuto) got a temporary ban. There is nobody, simply NOBODY that knows C1 suspensions, differentials, engines and two dozen other things I don't recall. Like most of us he is a crusty old guy that doesn't brook any nonsense and let's others know that real quick when they cross a line with him.

Pretty much a hallmark of the older car enthusiasts I know except for a few over on CF that have been cowed into submission by the oligarchy of admins there.

"Bumping" an old thread may result in that thread being closed. Bumping an old thread intentionally or "taking it to the top" (TTT) is not allowed in P&R and CFOT, and doing so may result in sanctions that can jeopardize a member's posting privileges.

This thread had no replies from April 25th until the OP bumped it on May 6th. If a thread isn't attracting replies, an OP should refrain from bumping it.

This is just a friendly reminder of the rules at the top of the page.

- 1 yarded thread
- At least two warnings from CD to long term members threatening them with a ban.
