Drinking/Cooking Tonight
Going to try this again since it went so well last time.
Since getting the induction cooker I've been cooking quite a bit more. Last night I make Chicken Curry. Second time in a week and I changed up the recipe a bit putting in more cayenne pepper and jalapeno. I roast the cumin and coriander seeds, grind them and then mix that with cayenne, turmeric, salt and pepper. Season the chicken and let sit for 24 hours. Cooking with onions, tomatoes, star anize, bay leaf, ground ginger, garlic and jalapeno with coconut milk. We also roast cashews, grind them and put them in the sauce. Finish with cilantro. To go with it was a had a single barrel of Mayor Pingree from a local distillery. I think it was 125 proof and aged 8 years. We are always interested in trying something new so post up what you had. |

That curry looks really good, but sounds like a lot of work. I get something very similar at a small Thai restaurant here.
Last night we had chicken noodle casserole and fresh green beans. I had sweet tea and Kathy had Coke. No photos were taken. I did relax outside later with a generous pour of 18 YO Highland Park and a good Padron cigar. |

I didn't get a good pic of it but its the Mayor Pingree, a local Detroit distillery's 6 year version of their mid range Bourbon, thought it was 8 until I saw the bottle.
Here is a older pic, same stuff. |

We've been watching this Youtuber, Best Food Review Show.
The guy eats some crazy foods. Nothing healthy but damn! Worst one was Lebanon, he ate cow shit juice.......I find it interesting to see what people eat around the world, different than us. |

I almost always only drink water at mealtime, not a wine dood, and then make sure the palate is clear before pouring. ENJOY!! |

No cooking, going out for dinner. Currently enjoying a little Johnnie Walker Black; more to come when we're out at the bar.

I love curry but more on the Jamaican side. It's milder.
I use the Glico curry cubes and yellow curry powder and coconut cream instead of milk. |

Made Coconut/Lime Chicken. Needs a bit of adjusting but it was pretty decent.
Also the absolute best $19.99 bottle of wine you will ever find. |

3rd attempt at Tuscan chicken.
Perfect. Added bacon, mushrooms, cubed the chicken for more seasoning. Served over capellini. Single barrel Heavens Door which was excellent. |
