Funny that the pic is about 5-6 years old and I never paid attention to the guy looking at my car. There is a Biden resemblance.

A black 2019 2LT Grand Sport coupe M7 popped up in my search this morning with about 7,600 miles on it. Looks mint in the pics.

Almost $30k cheaper than the vert Z06.

I could pay cash for it.

Going to look at it on Sunday.

I'm not crazy about downgrading to a GS, but the money required to buy a Z06 in this market is stupid, and I don't want to borrow money at these interest rates.

When I bought my Z06 it was a smokin' deal and interest rates were low so I didn't mind borrowing to step into it.

Now I have a new house and other priorities for my money, so being able to pay cash but still have a nice Vette is an OK trade-off for me.

Well it's not like you can really push it up there. I was at Niagara Falls in 2018 and remember seeing signs warning of serious consequences for going a certain percentage over the speed limit. Between that and the exchange rate for money with stupid high prices. Then them trying to double dip the tip at Ruth Christie's we were glad to get out.

Been a practice in SE FL for a few decades.
You only get the non-itemized receipt to sign once they run your card.
When you ask for the itemized bill you then see the 20% gratuity was already added to total.

I raised some hell when they tried this in South Beach a few years back, bill was $200 for lunch, had $40 gratuity alrready added, they wanted me to tip another 20% on top of that.
After I paid the bill, only 20%, I did a number on their plumbing!!

And it's something you could do on your own timeframe. And if you did that project, it'd be like getting a new car all over again, with it's noticeable change in performance.

Yep, 2650 and DSX pump and flex fuel,,, not sure how much the stock internals can handle, as do not 'think' they are forged like LT4.
Then again, a great time to upgrade the pistons and rods and consider F-1A-94.

With above may need cooling mods, will definitely need to buy a tire store.

IMO, when you change pistons & rods, headwork, with cooling mods, you are starting with a zero mileage engine.

Keep it at 600-650rwhp stock fuel system will be good. Keep boost 8-10# should be fine also. Limiting factor is stock fuel system and close ring end gap.
Keep hp and boost reasonable and with a good tuner should be fine

We were in Niagara Falls in Sept. 2018. Had I known, we could have gotten together for a nice German dinner.
I think we were the only white people at the falls. Everybody else was Indian. And the deodorant was scarce.
