Wow. Funny you happened to post this. A guy at my breakfast hangout last Tuesday was saying he has saved over 100 bucks a month on his electric bill using a device. I told him it was snake oil, but I would research it for the hell of it.

What I found from an engineering site was electric companies charge by KWH so the devices stabilizing KWA doesn’t help on the metered costs. I will pass.

See, that's why you became a nuke engineer. Being a EE, this is how it works: When you place two of these devices on the same home circuit the first one tries to quiet the electric company noise, but the second one tries to quiet the first one. So, you end up with a DC voltage equal to 1/sqrt2 of 120 which is ~84v. Probably destroy your shit, but if you have a Tesla, You can just plug into the wall now.
