A Parkerized finish (it's not paint) like on some guns, is "flat" (or "matte") which is non-reflective.

Would buy.

A Corvette convertible is one of the few where you don't give anything up since its a full frame vehicle.

If it were me personally and the insurance company was giving me cash I'd get a Grand Sport and do my own SC.

A Centri works much better from a traction standpoint. Z06's will blow the tires off, my centrifugal at about 650rwhp I could go WOT from 1st gear with near no tire spin, part of that was tuning but I've never driven a RWD car with so much traction and that was without the bigger GS tires.

The SC kits are stupid cheap, installation is even cheaper, 7 hours start to finish.

It sucks because its May but prices are coming down.

Looks nice, but I'm not into black. If I were, I would like it. I'm also not into verts. Had a few, find little use for them, except when I lived in LA they were great for cruising Sunset Blvd or Ventura Blvd at night or driving along the Coast Highway when it was severely overcast which was most of the summer.

So, if you're into black and you're into a convertible, it's your dream car. If not, keep looking. Don't buy it just because it's nice. But the car you want AND it should be a nice one.

Just for comparison....when I sold my C7 coupe, I made almost 10 grand. When I sold the Vert I lost a grand. Of course the coupe was sold during the Trump era and the Vert during the FJB era so there is that...
