Speaking of Iran

They've just hijacked a Greek oil ship in international waters using black clad masked military personnel. The ship is currently enroute to an Iranian port. According to Iran it's not piracy because they had a court order. Nice of them to remove all doubt regarding their support for the previously mentioned terrorists.

This sounds like a job for......Superman the Greek Navy.

Every country with flagged ships that transit that Strait need to be providing protection for their own ships. If you're a cheap ship owner and flag your vessel with a 'flag of convenience,' then you shouldn't expect some other country to come and save your ship. If you want US protection, for example, maybe you should spend the extra money and flag your ships with the USA.
