I did a 5 month consulting assignment in the UAE in 2014. They are much more laid back there, but it is a Muslim country. Homosexuality is "tolerated" there, behaving badly in public by anyone at any time is NOT. Any kind of "protest" will be put down essentially instantly, with jail time for all involved. Trying to have a "trans pride parade" would DEFINITELY be perceived as a protest.
