Stupid holiday that the gov just imposed on us today.....family day! What a joke. Poor employers and landlords lose a day of business and have to pay staff to stay home. Socialism in action I guess. Just IMPOSED on us without a vote or survey.

Anyway.....everything is closed today so no shopping for stuff. Just the nurse that comes every day rain or shine. That part of socialized medicine I like. I can't imagine how much all the nursing, supplies, and scripts would have cost me....probably many thousands.

Anyway, we're hovering around the freezing point for the next few days.....hope it melts all this white crap everywhere.

Ugh, doesn't sound fun. We've been to a number of NASCAR races, with the Bristol night race being our favorite. Haven't been to Daytona, how is it there as a spectator? Hours of boredom with a few seconds of mayhem, and horrible commute? Is it worth it?

I describe it as similar to watching basketball or hockey on TV instead of in person. So much happens away from what the camera is showing that one misses a lot when not in person. My opinion Daytona is a freaking awesome place to watch racing. This year was our 32nd consecutive 500, so I probably am a bit biased, and your mileage may vary.
