Why make an offer this week if you are not in a rush to move, and you are being told the price is going to drop??

I want to make sure you are gettting a market rate on a VA Purchase Mortgage.
Today's rate is 5.875% 30-year fixed, No Points, No Lender Origination, No Lender Underwriting Fee--660 middle score required.
If a broker is completing this for you, you should not be paying any fees to them such as Application Fee or Processing Fee.

I do not need to do your mortgage, I just want you to have market knowledge so whomever is does not go to Hawaii, with their family, after they close your mortgage.

The lake shows up downhill when it rains real hard, but no, I have not purchased the house.

Tell your Realtor that her mortgage referral source needs to get you a rate of 5.875%---NO FEES, except title company, title policy, recording, state and county taxes.
If this source cannot give you this rate, they are making too much on you.
It is very good that you feel you have a good Realtor, but remember she does not control the mortgage pricing of her referral source, and you need to shop to ensure you get the lowest rate / lowest payment.

Just looking out for you brother!!

Thanks. I need to look into how the taxes and wotnot work here in FL with a 100% Va disability rating. I know I am exempt from annual property taxes on my primary residence.

Remember, if disabled Vet, you get one financial portion of the loan removed. I forgot what it was, but it is nice.. I remember when loans were audited by the VA a few years back and many people received refunds. Bank of America was clueless when I called. Imagine that. Anything helps.
