My brother lived in the Tenderloin for years, it's not necessarily gay but I'll tell you what it is a rough part of SF!

This video that seems to be so humorous to so many and censored from FaceBook, powerfully struck me. Enough to compel me to actually reach out to the governor's office regarding HCQ.

Mock it, laugh, ridicule, whatever. These are truths being told.

We used to laugh about what if a gay guy escaped Cuba and his dream was to live in SF and he gets there and finds out all his people live in a place called Castro.

Historically a black neighborhood. A lot of the people who came to work in the shipyards during the war when they built the Liberty ships populated the area.

I don't know the history much. I heard once they nicknamed it "Tenderloin" because the military men back in the day would go there for the prostitution. I'll say this, that ain't the case anymore.

He lived in an apartment building, maybe a 15 x 15 box room, toilet was down the hall shared by the entire floor. I only went there a few times

This is a couple pages from a newspaper in the Kerala region of India, very high population and very dense population with the typical Indian-style overall conditions (not very hygenic to say the least.) Zoom on on the bottom right, look at what their protocols for treatment of COVID-19 are. Also note that as of today the total number of COVID-19 deaths in that entire region are 68.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/COVI...emic_in_Kerala

More info.

This was what they put out in March. Thus the "Interim Treatment" tagline. They've used something similar to these initial guidelines since, refined somewhat I'm sure. Maybe we could? Nah, states like CA and NV and VA make it illegal, and if a democrat congresswoman from MI praises the president in the Oval Office for saving her life by telling her about HCQ treatment, she is then railroaded out of the party by the MI democrat machine.

I've only been doing exactly this since about forever. But if you're perfectly healthy, not coughing or sneezing in people's faces, wearing a mask doesn't do jack squat. It would be just as effective to tell people "bring a handkerchief and cover your mouth and nose if you feel like you're about to cough or sneeze." And then you could put it away so it's not hanging on your face coated in nasty bacteria and snot.

So your claim is that a mask can stop high-velocity droplets from coughs and sneezes but low-velocity droplets from people speaking and breathing can just flow right through unimpeded?

Masks are not for people who are "perfectly healthy" - perfectly healthy people cannot infect anyone regardless.

The masks are for sick but asymptomatic people to help contain their droplets.

Sad that he died, but there is no possible way to prove he'd be alive if he wore a mask. Any statement in that regard is nothing but pure speculation. Just like saying the only people in the hospital are people that didn't wear masks.

Should we start digging for stories about people that followed every protocol and still got infected and died?

I'll add that it was his decision. Just as it should be mine.

Now, the conspiracy theorist in me doesn't ignore the fact that a KNOWN Trump supporter was in a hospital in a city that has already shown outrageous hate for Trump and has had significant rioting and killings. What an awesome opportunity to conveniently lose a powerful voice for blacks and Republicans.

Cute show and tell video, but find me one person that sneezes straight out without making any attempt to cover their mouth, turn their head, reduce the velocity, and I'll show you someone that needs a steel toed shoe in their teeth.

Why not light the sneezer's mask and watch those germs go up in flames? Someone sneezing like that in to a mask is a health hazard to themselves and everything they touch. That mask is full of contamination and if he lit it, you'd see.

Bonus question...Do you know why we exhale?

If we would sell HCQ in the cold medicine aisle at Walgreen's we wouldn't be having this discussion.

Do you wear a mask when out amongst the public?
Serious question.
