Blackberry or other phone?

Well I'm contemplating getting a new phone. I've looked at the Blackberry tour and it looks very nice. I've also read good things about the Verizon Droid. Someone had one of the Droids at work and boy is that thing thick. I was shocked at how thick it was.
I like the idea of Blackberry but wonder how it well they hold up and work. I currently have the Samsung Omnia and it isn't that great of a phone. My dainty little fingers don't touch the the touchscreen in small enough places to type very well, it gets aggravating.
Just curious what experiences folks have had with the Blackberry.

The Curve is a good phone from what I've read/heard. I'm going to be upgrading my Rumor(which has been a great phone) after the first of the year. The curve is what I'm leaning towards, but who knows by then.

I have a Storm, it's bearable. Did a Tour for a while, but didn't like the trackball. The curve 2 is supposed to be nice, especially with the new touchpad. Personally, I would go with the droid in a second... lots of friends with it and it's pretty cool, just ugly

I've been using a Curve since they came out. Best BB so far. They are getting a bit "old tech" and if you are looking for something to browse - they're are better ways to go. Unfortunately I have to use Sprint since they have the push-to-talk feature which I need for my biz.

Verizon has the push to talk function, or they used to. I haven't checked in a while.

It has a huge delay to the point it's not usable. I'm not sure they ever did a widespread relese of it.

I've been carrying a Curve on VZW for almost a year now and no complaints other than the screen is smaller than I like. I would seriously look at a BB StormII

I had a BB Curve and really liked it. In Oct I went with the BB Storm 2. I really like the click touchscreen. I too have a little problem at times typing the correct letters. I was texting someone the other day and was trying to type I'm so glad you are part of our family. What I typed was "I'm so glad you ate part of our family" Needless to say that got a good laugh.

Overall I really love my Storm 2.

iPhone is the only way, I am waiting on the 4g iphone for my next one


Some great functions, with my iPhone I can use my laptop tethered to the phone to make this post and talk on my phone, what other phone can you do this with at the sametime
