Default 2 post lifts

Building a new garage and was wondering about 2 post lifts. I am only going to have 10' ceilings. I am seeing these:

https://www.northerntool.com/shop/to...9746_200359746 And they look good. Anyone have any suggestions as to manufacturer etc that I should look for. Obviously safety is priority. 2+ tons over ones head is cause for safety thoughts LOL

THanks!

Edit, my pad is 4000psi concrete with wire and fiber reinforcement at 5" thick

MaxJax FTW. Cost effective and very reliable, and works with low ceilings.

I have a 4 post and love it, but it is mostly used for storage, oil changes, etc. I’m looking at getting a bridge jack so that brake work, etc can be done on the lift instead of the garage floor. Mine is a local company, I know they didn’t manufacture it but it’s branded with their name so no help on which brand to buy but if you can find a local company that services and installs you will want that

While you can never have too much light, that was when we were shutting down after the first night.

I have hundreds of hours underneath them. If I die because they fail, then so be it. Having said that, you put pins in it at whatever level you are working at. No way in hell those things will ever fall. I did add the epoxy to the anchor bolts.

I’d like to see the reactions behind the loads with say a 3500lb car on them. It’s a lot of trust in the concrete, that’s for sure
