You are comparing the social acceptance that blacks were trying to gain, with the social acceptance that gays are trying to attain? Dude, I've got news for you, "social acceptance" is not what gays want. They want us all to celebrate them, put them on a pedestal, and worship them, their courage, lifestyle choice and continually feed their need for acceptance and validation from "mainstream" America. And God forbid those who don't.. you'll pay. Be it blowback (no pun intended) on your business, facebook account.. whatever they can find. LGBT folks (for the most part) preach tolerance, but don't practice it. They want you to be accepting of THEIR lifestyle, but the minute you oppose it, or for example express an opinion supporting traditional marriage, all gloves are off. Hypocritical at best.

My honest opinion is, I don't care if people are gay or not. Just like I don't care if people drink or do drugs. None of which are my cup of tea. But don't put it in my face and try to force me accept it, or be branded a bigot for not doing so.

I think that deep down the reason the homosexuals are begging for everyone's approval and blessing are that there is some part of them that knows it goes against the laws of nature and is wrong. This drives them to constantly seek external validation that what they are doing is ok.

But really. I have no opinion on the matter.

The attraction isn't, but the activities certainly can be.

Many actresses and actors have had homosexual roles and are straight and homosexuals have had roles where they acted straight.

I try not to cherry-pick butthurt from someone's opinion. I do try to learn from those that have a more direct experience with the subject, as I have from LGBT folks I've known over the years. I learn by listening to understand, and that understanding has changed my opinion on the subject. Only the opinions of a closed mind are truly fixed.
