Default Dyno Day!




Wanted a baseline after inheriting my Uncle Mack's C5. Tuned it to 456 rwhp / 421 ft lbs torque. Nice gains throughout the power band especially the high end and also tweaked the air/fuel mix.

Was an awesome day!

Sounds like a nice heads/cam/exhaust setup given the torque curve and vid.
Look like GHL Bullets out the rear.

A few mods lol...it's a 2001 C5 with a 2005 Lingenfelter Performance Engineering (LPE) LS2 Engine w/build sheet, Edelbrock/LPE Heads, LPE Rockers, MAHLE Pistons, LPE/Comp Cams GT2 Cam, FAST 90mm Intake, Shaner 90mm ported throttle body, Ported Oil Pump, ASP UD Pulley, LGM long tube headers w/merge collectors, Off Road Pipes, X-pipe, Borla Quad Stingers, MSD wires, NGKTR55 plugs, HP tuners, Rossler 4L65E stage 2 tranny, 3200 Vigilante torque converter, Hayden HD tranny cooler, DTE stage 2 3.73 diff, hardened output shaft, NITTOs, Line Lock, Blackwing, Powerduct airbridge, 160' t-stat, Z06 custom wheels, lowering kit installed after the tune...now I'm outta breath.

So the radiator cap is still stock then, right?

Doubtful
I'd guess LPE used a cooler t-stat and being a 15 yr old car, probably went with a lower psi cap like 13psi IIRC.

Crazy how high the factory fan settings are. I think fan #1 becomes active at 215 and #2 at 235.
