this is just my opinion--and you know what they say
about that........ i have never found ANY electric fan ( single or dual ) that will cool my motors. granted, they are a bit nuttier than the average guys build -current is a 10-1, 461" with a 292/.595/108 cam- but still... and i tried 'black magic' fans, taurus SHO fan, lincoln MKVIII fan, viper fan, twin 16" pullers, etc... my standard 'go to' fan is the 18inch black plastic flex-a-lite # 418 in the stock shroud. https://www.amazon.com/Flex-lite-418-Black-Driven/dp/B00029J3XO/ref=pd_sbs_263_4?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00029J3XO&pd_rd_r=4EEB869TGRMGERZZRPH3&pd_rd_w=FwaTF&pd_rd_wg=W3peu&psc=1&refRID=4EEB869TGRMGERZZRPH3which seems really cheap and cheesy--but BOY, does it move some air! it keeps my motor on the 180 t-stat even in 2 hours of 93 degree heat stop and go, bumper to bumper traffic. not to say my feet arent cooking in the car, and i am sweating like the pig that i am, but the motor aint overheating! your results may differ, just letting you know MY personal experiences with electric fans. |
