What I had for Thanksgiving Dinner...
Cornish Game Hens brined and basted with butter, thyme, parsley, pepper, and onions.
Lemony Maple Syrup baked sweet potatoes. Grandma's Dressing. Cranberry sauce. Cheese and brocolli casserole. Red Velvet Cake for dessert. Now I'm doing what we call "laying up" in the South: Lying on the couch on my back and drifting in and out of sleep! |

Took the easy way out, Golden Corral for the Thanksgiving day spread. They do the dishes we get to sleep it off.

My Grandma made the same thing! That woman could cook! And at my insistence she always made a small batch of buttermilk biscuits so that I could have biscuits and gravy. That was the best part...except for the turkey, dressing, ham, mashed potatoes, those beans, pecan pie, pumpkin pie, and tea....
