Apparently, there are 3 rare complications and they think I have one or more of them. Since I live in the middle of nowhere, the only urologist in the area (the one who did my procedure) is gone until Monday leaving me sort of out of luck. The ER people said the problem should go away on its own but have given me antibiotics and a 'script for Vicodin in the meantime.

And I can't walk

Oh my god. I'm so sorry to hear.

My vasectomy was painful enough without any complications. Can you give us some more details?

Was it something you did, or the doctor's malpractice that led to the problems?

All I know for sure is that you can't get an ultrasound done at night in the tri-county area. The pain was so bad (before narcotics) that it took me over 20 minutes just to get from my bedroom to my car. Whose idea was it to buy a manual transmission car?

Just a few days after taking delivery of my manual transmission Passat, I broke my arm. My right arm. That sucked.

Oh, and thanks for reminding me why I don't want a vasectomy.

Sounds like dry socket....


I was hopping off of trucks the day after mine and had a similar situation.
It turned out fine but the burn was a tad uncomfortable for a week or two.
