It's inverted flare guys. NPSF mates to NPTF which has a 30 degree inverted seat. The part required is readily available and is actually listed as 5/8-18 to 6 AN.

Does he still go around and work on Qjets for folks. He is the dude that used to be on CF that was the Qjet guru, correct? Glad you got it fixed. :seasix:

I got this figured out though. The fitting is INDEED 1/4 NPT to 6an.
