My wife says..

Wife comes home tonight and tells me how this guy she works with has a bunch of family members who are financial wizards and they predict we will be in full blown depression worse than the great depression by the end of the year. This guy has convinced my wife that all the signs point to this great disaster and all the info is right there if you just look for it. He said he is going to empty his 401k and then take out cash loans on his credit cards until they are maxed as paying them back won't matter when the bottom falls out.

So what say you wise sages of the Barn? Am I soon to be the Tom Joad of 2010?

Since these guys are such Financial Wizards … where are they advising her to put her money so that it doesn’t impact her? Anyone can say the sky is falling, the trick is predicting where it’s going to hit the ground and making sure you’re not under it.
