I would go there and look for this woman to take her next cell phone from her, just for fun. Of course, my car would no doubt be broken into or stolen while I'm there, so there is a downside.

Been there once. Turned into an adventure. Bike wouldn't restart at a gas station. Had to disassemble the starter switch, contacts were corroded. I became the main event for every junkie that laid eyes on me. Hovering around like mosquitos on a warm Summer night :rofl:

Oh the memories.... I was in the studio with Krokus when they recorded this and a couple other songs. First saw them open for Rush when nobody in the US had ever heard of them. I had Chris tell me my friend and I were the first American fans they ever met. Two years later chatted with him and he was surprised to hear that and remembered me. Should have just died in 1990 and been done with things....

Went to a hemp festival in Portlandia and spent a few days on the coast back in the mid 90's. Don't recall many bums then.

I fly into Portland regularly since 1995. We stayed at a hotel in Jantzen Beach, which is a resort type area that’s along the River and very nice. Over the years the area progressivly deteriorated to the point that my company had to change our hotel to Vancouver Washington to avoid all the homeless trash and druggies. I witnessed this firsthand. On the highway driving to the old Portland Hotel you would see homeless encampments everywhere, one of them was in a traffic circle as you exited the highway. The entire exit circle was littered with tents and bums. This is what Democrat policies do to a nice nice area. Portland also lays claim to the highest per capita population of white guys with dreadlocks! Drugs are a bad thing!

I was concerned that might be thing when my bike broke down and an audience began gathering. They for sure had me outnumbered but I probably had enough hollow points to go around. Apparently 6'2" 220 lb guys wearing black leather don't need explaining to them :rofl: They behaved, that didn't lessen the relief I felt leaving that place in the dust.
