View Full Version : Sunday April 3rd --- 8pm EST --- THE KENNEDYS --- Reelz Channel
FYI, this looks to be a GREAT miniseries. It will be airing this week on Reelz Channel.
There's a schedule here: The Kennedys (http://www.reelzchannel.com/kennedys/)
Anyone else looking forward to this as much as I am? GREAT cast (other than Katie Holmes but I'll give her a chance).

Looks interesting. DVR set. I hadn't heard a thing about it so thanks for the heads up.
I have seen and lived through enough of the Kennedy bullshit. Now this garbage shows up, a little fairy tale about the most dysfunctional family in the country. No doubt history will be rewritten to put them in the best light possible!
When killer Ted died a while back it mostly has put the rest of the slugs back into a kind of non godlike state (AT LAST:hurray:)
I would rather watch paint dry than anything that has to do with those bozos.

 wait; I thought the Jackson family got that honor. :D

Actually it allegedly pulls no punches, which is why the Hollywood liberals screamed bloody murder about it and now it's on an obscure channel.
I believe it was originally supposed to be an HBO or Showtime deal.
Furthermore, while he may have had some personal faults, John F. Kennedy, (who I assume the miniseries will focus on the most) served his country in the military, and as President cut taxes and strived to face down Communism. Yes, he was young and made some bad mistakes (Cuba), but I don't think it's fair to paint the entire family with such a broad brush.

Fine with JFK, hell he was even a NRA member. I was in hi school when he was killed. Real terrible thing.
Teddy now polluting the hallowed grounds of Arlington, a total disgrace to the honorable folks buried there. :wtf:
The rest of the family, mostly a bunch of hypocritical, lying, criminal crybabies that have the balls to try and tell /force the rest of us how to live. Their wealth and their “American Royalty status” sure kept a bunch of them out of jail!:toetap:

I don't think it's fair to paint the entire family with such a broad brush.:iagree: The eldest son made the ultimate sacrifice, and John F. also almost lost his life in World War II. I'm sure neither of them had to go to war if they didn't want to.

:iagree:
To bad that channel is not available here.
There is a "Live Viewing App" option on the show's homepage:
The Kennedys (http://www.reelzchannel.com/kennedys/)
I'm guessing Reelz realizes lots of folks don't get the channel and are looking to capitalize on this show.
So it looks like you can watch in on your PC, I-Pad, or Mobile Device
I might consider that option since Reelz channel on Comcast here is only in standard definition.

Bullshit, the Jacksons MAY BE dysfunctional, but not on the GRAND SCALE of the Kennedy's.....
no freeking WAY man....not close.....
Comes on in fifteen minutes.
Wow. This is really great so far. Hope I never have a son die before me. :sadangel:
I'm really tired of hearing about the Kennedy's and "Camelot".
The "stars" of the family are gone. Let them go back to "ordinary" status.
Enough is enough.
Bootlegging?
You got to see the Chris Rock skit on the Kennedy's, Politics and Crime ... it's hilarious and oh so true.

It was originally to show, IIRC, on the History Channel, and the kennedy family got it pulled. I believe that's what I read.
I didn't catch it yesterday but it seems they're having an encore tonight, so I'll set the DVR and watch it when nothing else to do.
I was a huge Kennedy buff growing up and I watched and read everything I could get my hands on. The more I learned the more I realized what ass wipes these people really were.
I have my own little theories on the assasination of JFK, but RFK I pretty well believe what the final investigation revealed. At least there aren't the holes in it as in JFK.
Shouldn't have went after the Cosa Nostra there Bobby!

Sorry but it doesn't make a blip on my "give-a-crap-o-meter".
That's ok, neither does you.
Ok I have to admit, the show was entertaining.

Never knew how much I could have in common with a KENNEDY of all people.
LOVE the father. Reminds me of me.
The sons, not so much.

They can do a show on the father alone and I'm not sure if everyone would like what they see. :yesnod:
Episode 2 getting ready to start.
This is a Really Ironic Movie ...
I remember my wife turning to and saying; "and this was only 50 years ago". I didn't even have to ask her what part she was talking about, because it didn't really matter, it as relevant in every way.

Tuned in last night and it was terrific. Barry Pepper wouldn't have been my choice for Bobby but he's doing a good job.
FU@K the Kennedy's.
I like not a one of them.
Fortunately, any of them who wield any power are dead...as far as I know.
