President Obama has selected his Final Four picks for the NCAA tournament. He's predicting all number one seeds -- Duke, Kansas, Ohio State and Pittsburgh for the men's tournament --which he's unveiling on ESPN Wednesday afternoon.

It's the third straight year the commander-in-chief has filled out a bracket with the sports channel, and the second year he's done so for the women's tournament.

For that one he's placed Baylor, UConn, Stanford and Tennessee.

So how's the president's March Madness accuracy? In 2009 he accurately picked North Carolina in the winner, but last year selected Kansas, but Duke ended up getting the top spot.


Critics have charged the president shouldn't be spending so much time on sports, like playing golf or filling out the bracket in a time of international crisis -- with Japan's earthquake aftermath and the situation in Libya intensifying.

White House Communicatios Director Dan Pfeiffer sent a tweet noting he had a message about more than just basketball:

"POTUS filled out his bracket with @ESPNAndyKatz. Used it as an chance to encourage people to visit USAID.gov to help people in #japan"

The president is an avid basketball player and fan and often spends his free-time on the weekends hitting the court.

Obama's special assistant and personal aide, Reggie Love, is a frequent basketball partner for the president and also a former Duke player.

The president also often plays with his daughter Sasha and her friends and even filled-in as a coach for her team.



Seems Obama has time for everything but leading:dance:

Well, right now, the GOP agenda is to shut down the govt. and NPR .... so the world in crisis isn't of the utmost importance ... so go ahead Obama and lay down those bets, somebodys' gotta win ...

Blah blah just more diversion from the truth, vacation out of the country on our dime with all the issues on the table is something that gets CEOs of companies fired. Being a govt employee he is safe from this:rofl:

What he has proved he can do from vacation, the golf course is spending money at a record amount, not much else other than the stimilus that kept unemployment low, pipe dream and the HC law that America does not want:rofl:

The Republicans have done everything they can to de-legitimize him and make him appear Un-American; and when all this didn’t work, they went after his Wife and Children, his Parents, his Religion, his ancestry … anything they could think of. Yea a real classy bunch, be we're seen this before. But nothing sticks … he just goes on at his work. That’s the best way to get back at your detractors. It's the year 2011, and the old tricks just don't work anymore.

You are full of Chit, again if a CEO was facing the crisis that Obama is he/she would be fired for all the lesiure stuff he has time for vs the crisis at hand, but then his personal time off is more important than any crisis, after all he does work harder than any CEO in America:lol:
