I'm with Taurus. Sgt. Pepper was the first one that came to my mind. When released, it was a 'first' of a sequential format. I remember that summer very well. Pink Floyd sucked then and sucks now. Pretentious, depressing, and dark.

I thought Steeley Dan was pretentious and sucked in the '70's except for a few tunes, but now enjoy the band. Listened to Aja in its entirety on my daily walk about 2 weeks ago. Hadn't heard some of those songs in over 40 years. It has withstood the test of time.

I would have picked Sgt. Pepper, The White Album, or Pet Sounds.

If I never hear Pink Floyd again it'll be too soon.

Sgt Peppers, white album right up there. Haven’t even broached LZ.

The Dan may have been pretentious pricks but what that gave us well you decide.
