That would tecnically be a direct ignition cassette, and I would need to know if you needed the red one or black one. Very common for those to fail on a saab.

Ha! I know that all too well. Had a 99 Saab 95 turbo and put 125k miles on it. Those damn DICs are expensive. Fast car. Lots of issues.

I look up the gm part number, or ac delco number and use that as a search tool. Go to Amazon, order the parts I need, save the trip to the store, AND end up with higher quality parts than the cheap crap they stock at any of the part stores. "lifetime warranty semi metallic brake pads for only $22? No thanks, how bout I just buy the good Raybestos or Akebono ones online for less than you get for them, and just as fast" |

Funny...I read this the other day and thought, "wow my local store is pretty decent". Then went to get a replacement battery at Oreilly's for my wifes 2011 mazda 6. Tell the guy 3 times as he's looking in the computer that its a 6 cyl...he says, "thats the 4 cyl right...thats all I show". Flip the screen around - no its the 6cyl...the one in the drop down right here that has a 6 followed by C Y and L.
Get the battery home... Not the right size - its 2" too big to fit. Took it back and went to a local parts store. wife: Mazda 6 Parts counter guy: |

That was your problem....he thought you wanted a "collector" gasket, as in gasket collections that gasket collectors collect! Try for a designer gasket next time..
