I 100% agree. I had something minor last year and lost my sense of smell for a minute. I savored the moment that I could open a can of coffee and smell it. That is insignificant, and I hate to imagine what she is going through. My thoughts are with you and I hope what she has lost is only temporary.

i haven't had a sense of smell since HS.
