Possible replacement for my Z06...

Only has 5,400 km on it (3,300 miles).

They want stupid money for it, and I am not sure about buying a convertible...

I've had several Vettes over the years, but only one 'vert, my current C7 vert. I love everything about it - but then I live in Florida where I can drive with the top down most of the year. That is a gorgeous car, but it needs to be lowered.

Looks good! -- although I don't care for verts either. Black is much better than white though.

I've had plenty of verts in my lifetime and never again. Even with the top and windows up (hard or canvas top) the road noise is too much for my liking.

My C7 vert has less road noise than the C7 coupe I rode in, and less road noise than the C6 coupe I had.

I've been in both a few times and it was a hugely noticeable difference for me. My C6 vert sucked very much bad when it cam to road noise, though.

The fastback coupes look WAY better than a vert whether the top is up or down.

I do take my top off (sometimes) if the temp is between say 75 - 85°. Otherwise I like the quietness, no wind, and climate control.

White was never my first choice for color but Mrs Flex loved it, and it was a smokin' deal.

My wife has a convertible (Fiat Spider) and the roof rattles constantly.

Drives me nuts.

Looks are subjective, I like them both.

I enjoy driving with the top down but almost never removed the targa top on my C6 because it was a PITA to remove the store in the rear, and precluded having anything else in the back. Putting the top down on the C7 vert involves pushing a button, and there's still usable trunk space with the top down.

I have never owned a vert, and have also never taken off the tops on my C6 and C7.

That's just me, I know some who will only own verts.

You should buy the Vette that you like most, offered at a price you feel is fair, not good, value.

Rattles when up or down? Might want to see if an adjustment is needed; my Spider's roof doesn't rattle at all. Road noise, OTOH...

I like the black C7 much better than the white. The black accents (like taillight surrounds, brake vents, etc) blend in better and don't look like tack-ons.

Based on the skills of the thieves in his area, I would recommend removing all four wheels and the steering wheel when parked overnight, AND also put three pit bulls in the front seat.
